I was talking to a friend the other day about wearing a wet suit and he said, “A wetsuit .. aren’t those like four thousand dollars?” Well that’s a bit of an insane price to guess, but it did cost $300, and that isn’t cheap either. But check this out: you can buy a used wetsuit for around $10. These are going to be wetsuits that have a hole or two in them, so you’re thinking, what’s the point? Well, fortunately, you can fix those holes with some liquid neoprene, which you can find at some surf shops. If you don’t find it at your surf shop, check Walmart or Lowes. Liquid neoprene is basically liquid rubber that will seal the holes right up and make your cheap wetsuit like new.
By the way, you can find those cheap $10 wetsuits at a surf shop or on Craig’s List.
